YWAM DENMARK

YWAM DENMARK

Equipping and training disciples from all nations!

With it’s long history, YWAM Denmark continues to build on the foundation of the many people who have preceded us, to build and equip young people from all over the world.

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is one of the largest international cross-missionary missions in the world. We take it seriously when Jesus says:

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” (Mark 16:15)

YWAM works with three areas internationally and nationally

  1. Training
  2. Evangelism
  3. Mercy Ministries

We do our work in these three areas with our desire to “know God and make Him known” as the foundation.

In Denmark, YWAM works to communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ in a relevant way in all spheres of society – in Denmark and internationally.

YWAM DENMARK’S HISTORY

YWAM Denmark was pioneered in 1972 by Bente and Leon Have Thomsen, and this makes Denmark the second country in Europe where YWAM was pioneered. In 1973 the first “School of Evangelism” was up and running, which was the name of the school that later became DTS. In addition to DTS’, there have been several secondary schools over the years, among other things. The School of Communication and Biblical View of Man (BVM), School of Intercessory Prayer (SOIP) and School of Frontier Missions (SOFM). Family service and family DTS have been the focus for many years. Kings Kids, which you can read under “King’s Kids”, is a service that has been running since 1988.
