November 20–21 at Sjellebro
YWAM Sjellebro invites you to a seminar with Lynn Green on reconciliation—what it means in practice and what we as Christians can learn about living with peace, responsibility, and restoration in a world marked by conflict.
Drawing on many years of international ministry and leadership experience, Lynn Green will share insights on reconciliation between individuals, cultures, and nations—and how it also challenges and shapes our personal lives and faith.
He will teach on unity within different streams of the Body of Christ, and in that context take a look at our human tendency to tribalism.
The seminar will include teaching, reflection, and inspiration for how we can help build bridges within our own communities and spheres of influence of society.
Lynn Bio:
Lynn and Marti Green first came to England and established the work of Youth With A Mission in 1971. YWAM in the United Kingdom grew from those early days and now there are hundreds of full-time YWAMers in over twenty locations around the UK.
Lynn was appointed to be YWAM’s International Chairman in August 2004. He is now part of a small senior leadership group, serving YWAM globally.
Over the years, Lynn has often served with other movements and organizations. This has included initiating and chairing “Challenge 2000” (the “DAWN” movement for England) and being a founder and director of “March for Jesus”. Lynn was a Trustee of CARE Trust for thirty-five years. He also directed the “Reconciliation Walk”, mobilizing thousands of Christians to prayerfully retrace the route of the First Crusade, and thereby helping to defuse 900 years of bitterness between Muslims, Christians and Jews.
Lynn now devotes much of his energy and time to international leadership development, especially with the hundreds of younger leaders now emerging in Youth With A Mission. As a result, he has ministered in more than 100 nations and extensively uses video-conferencing and social media to support, encourage and train younger mission leaders.
