Who can participate? The weekend is open for young couples who are considering marriage or who are already engaged. Young married couples should attend "Weekend for Couples". What is the purpose of the weekend? Our desire is that these weekends will help create a strong foundation for future marriages so that more people may expericence the joy God has placed in a marriage according to his will. We also desire to see young couples find Gods plan for their marriage and be released to serve God together where they are at. We wish to accomplish this through a combination of teaching, assignments, conversations and prayer. You can accomplish much in a weekend, but not everything, and for that reason we also want to promote marriage preparation in local churches. On these weekends the participants are introduced to the pre-marriage counseling material: "Becoming One" - and we encourage everyone to use this material in their local church as a supplement to this weekend.
Speakers
Anette & Martin Leegaard are working fulltime in Youth With A Mission and has among other things been responsible for translating and publishing the pre-marital counseling material: "Bemoming One" in Denmark.
